Shipment and Delivery Policy

At arunachalamgopalakrishnan.com, we are committed to ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Below is our shipment and delivery policy, which will help you understand the process once you place an order on our website.

1. Order Processing

Once you place an order, it will be processed, printed, and packaged by our team. Typically, orders are processed within 1-2 business days, after which a shipping label is generated, and the package is dispatched.

2. Shipping Statuses

After the shipping label is created, you will be able to track your order from your account dashboard. The tracking ID will display one of the following statuses:

  • Pickup Scheduled: Your order has been requested for pickup by the courier service.
  • Pickup Error: There was an issue with the pickup request due to order details or technical reasons.
  • Out for Pickup: The courier is on its way to collect your parcel.
  • Pickup Exception: The courier attempted to pick up the parcel but was unable to complete the task.
  • Pickup Rescheduled: The pickup could not be completed and has been scheduled for the next available time.
  • Order Picked Up: The parcel has been successfully collected from our facility.
  • In-Transit: Your package is on its way to the destination hub.
  • Out for Delivery: The package is being delivered to your address.
  • Undelivered (1st/2nd/3rd Attempt): A delivery attempt was made but could not be completed due to:
    • Unable to contact customer
    • Incomplete or incorrect address
    • Cash on Delivery (COD) amount not ready
    • Customer requested future delivery or self-pickup
    • Customer refused the delivery
    • Delivery premises were closed
  • Delivered: The package has been successfully delivered to your address.
  • RTO (Return to Origin) Initiated: Your package is being returned to us.
  • RTO Delivered: The returned package has arrived at our facility.
  • Reverse Pickup Initiated: A reverse pickup has been initiated for your order.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times will vary based on the shipping destination and method chosen. Typically, deliveries are made within 5-7 business days from the date of dispatch. However, remote locations or areas marked as “Out of Delivery Area” (ODA) may experience extended delivery times.

4. Undelivered Orders

If your order is marked as Undelivered but no delivery attempt was made, or you did not receive a call from the courier, please contact us within 24 hours at arunachalamgopalakrishnantees@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The tracking ID (AWB number)
  • A call recording or screenshot of any communication with the courier

While we will do our best to request a reattempt for delivery, please note that not all couriers guarantee a reattempt. Some couriers only make one delivery attempt (e.g., Delivery, Amazon), whereas others may make up to three attempts.

5. Out of Delivery Area (ODA)

In some cases, if the shipping status is marked as ODA (Out of Delivery Area), your package will be held at the nearest delivery hub, and you will receive an SMS with instructions to collect the package yourself. The package will be held for 24 hours, after which it may be returned to us if it is not collected.

If the delivery address becomes restricted or marked as out-of-delivery after dispatch, we are not responsible for refunds related to freight charges. Self-collection will be required in such instances.

6. Returned Orders (RTO)

Orders may be returned to us (RTO) if:

  • The delivery address provided is incomplete or incorrect.
  • The customer was not available for delivery, and delivery attempts failed.

To avoid such issues, please ensure that the shipping address includes the following details:

  • House or Door Number
  • Street Name
  • Area or Locality
  • City and State
  • Pincode
  • Landmark (if applicable)

If an order is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete address information, we are not responsible for any additional charges that may arise from re-shipping.

7. Serviceable Pincodes

We ship through several reliable courier partners such as Delhivery, FedEx, eKart, Xpressbees, ECom Express, and India Speed Post. In rare cases where your location is not serviceable by our primary couriers, the order will be shipped via India Speed Post for prepaid orders. Cash on Delivery (COD) services are not available in these cases.

8. Proof of Delivery (POD)

Proof of Delivery (POD) is important to confirm that your package has been successfully delivered. Our couriers offer two types of POD:

  • Customer Signature: You may be asked to sign for your package either digitally or on paper upon delivery.
  • OTP Verified Delivery: You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number, which you will need to provide to the delivery agent.
